This first program in the Basics series aims to help you deepen the core techniques of mindfulness meditation. This is done by repeating, over and over again, a common framework that invites exploration of the breath, sensations, thoughts and emotions. There is no obligation to do all the sessions one after the other! You can do the sessions alternately with those from another program, but it is your perseverance and the confrontation with repetition that may open new doors. Meditating involves bringing your attention to the present moment by focusing, for example, on your breathing or your feelings. You then become the observer of your own your mental functioning (thoughts and emotions). This first Basics program gives you the foundations for discovering more advanced exercises with the breath and bodily sensations.
